A piece I did for the good folks at Spindle magazine. It was to acompany an article about an up and coming band called 'Sound of Rum', focussing on the lyrics "swift eyed whispering heads with no shame".
Another ropey fellow I produced. This was a larger drawing, on A2. Still don't think i've got it quite right though, so will probably do another rope man soon.
I came across an old stetchbook recently, and there was a picture I did a few years back of a man made of rope. No idea why I originally did it, but thought i'd have a go at updating it.
I've been drawing Greetings cards a lot recently, so though i'd try and knock out a few larger scale pieces. This is an A2 piece I did, loosely based around the term 'Tongue lashing'. It can be purchased as a T-Shirt from Halu Clothing - www.halu.co.uk
One of two versions of this card I have done. Not sure how large the 'Fight' greetings' card market is, but I like to think somebody out there may need one, one day.
An image for The Beatles song - 'I am the Walrus'. This is mainly focussing on the lines "see how they run like pigs from a gun, see how they fly" and "see how they snort like pigs in a sty, see how they snide", aswell as the phrase "choking smokers".
An image for 'No More Lies' by Iron Maiden. This is focussing on the lines "They're all sitting at the table talking tall and drinking wine, their time is up, just like me". I'm not sure if i'm happy with this at the moment so may change it again.
Waltzing Along by James. This was particularly focussing on the line "I'm cured by laughter". The idea around this piece was taking the notion of numerous of clowns coming out of one car, but replacing that car with an ambulance.
